Landlord representation is when a landlord engages an exclusive broker to lease a property for the highest rent and under the most beneficial terms. Relying on in-depth market knowledge, the landlord broker will identify the most likely tenants for the offered space and position the property to address the needs of those tenants. The landlord broker will conduct property inspections highlighting the benefits of the space, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) with the most beneficial terms for the landlord, guide the negotiation of the business terms of a lease.
